What is the function of baby head positioner? There are some differents between baby head positioner and baby sleep positioner. It looks like same but it’s not. People normally use head positioner for baby in stroller. Some baby sleep positioners have head positioner and some not. So, if I want to buy sleep positioner which one should I choose? What is the purpose of that head sleep positioner? For stroller or for sleep?
If you don’t buy a stroller yet, then you should by a stroller build in with head positioner. If you already have one, maybe your baby needs one or not. It depends on how active of your baby. If your baby enjoying the moment in the stroller and moving actively while in the stroller that may lead to injury, it’s a sign you need one. The purpose is to prevent your baby from knocking his/her head to the body of stroller (just in case). If your baby is the calm one, then you don’t need it.
For sleep, it’s good enough without head positioner. The purpose of baby sleep positioner is positioning your baby to sleep in good position (prevent from moving to left and right thus end those movements with sleep on his/her tummy which know as dangerous and can cause suffocation hazard). The important for you baby while sleeping is not sleeping in his/her tummy. So, normal sleep positioner will do a good job. It looks like baby head positioner is not needed in this case.
